Who we need
Reporting to the Director, Marketing and Partnerships, we are hiring an Account Director, Entertainment & E-commerce, to lead overall account planning, growth strategy, and performance management for strategic Scene+ partners. This role operates within a complex multi-partner ecosystem and is accountable for delivering measurable marketing and commercial outcomes for key partners.
As the Account Director, you will define and execute integrated marketing and go-to-market strategies supported by data-driven insights and clear alignment to entertainment and e-commerce partners, and member experience objectives. You will shape annual and quarterly account plans, identify high-impact growth opportunities, and build business cases informed by market and competitive intelligence to guide. Working closely with analytics, marketing, finance, operations, and external stakeholders, you will integrate partner requirements into operational and marketing roadmaps to deliver sustained performance and long-term value.
This job posting is for an existing vacancy that is a full-time, hybrid role working three days per week on site in our Toronto office.
What’s in it for you:
Impact and influence. You will shape the strategic direction of key Scene+ partnerships by translating market insights and performance data into clear actions that support partner growth and program expansion. Your recommendations will influence campaign optimization, investment allocation, and long-term partnership strategy, contributing to stronger partner outcomes and member engagement.
Ownership and growth. This is a high-visibility role with ownership of partnership strategy and marketing execution across major Scene+ accounts within the entertainment and e-commerce portfolio. You will identify growth opportunities, guide campaign performance, and deliver measurable results that strengthen partner value and expand member engagement.
Career development and team environment. You will join a collaborative team that is proud to shape the next chapter of Scene+ growth, supported by a manager who values mentorship, constructive feedback, and professional development. This role offers exposure to large-scale partnership strategy and decision-making, building experience that can accelerate your career in partnership leadership, loyalty marketing, or commercial strategy.
As our new Account Director, you will focus on:
- Integrated account strategy leadership. You will develop and execute annual account plans for strategic Scene+ partners, with a focus on driving KPIs such as cardholder growth. Using data-driven insights, cross-functional collaboration, and member segmentation, you will align marketing strategy, investment allocation, and campaign execution to deliver results. You will present priorities and progress in leadership and partner meetings and lead quarterly refinements based on campaign performance, member insights, and market conditions.
- Performance monitoring and insights. You will own performance oversight for key Scene+ partners by establishing KPI frameworks and governance. You will translate complex data into clear insights, identifying risks and opportunities across targeting, offer structure, messaging, and channels. You will lead forecasting for marketing campaigns and develop QBRs that summarize performance, insights, and recommended next steps.
- Relationship management. You will act as the partnerships lead for account initiatives, aligning internal teams - including Analytics, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Digital - with external stakeholders around shared priorities. You will serve as the day-to-day contact for key Scene+ partners, building trusted relationships and ensuring alignment on growth opportunities, performance goals, and long-term initiatives.
- Governance and operational oversight. You will lead structured governance processes such as QBRs, strategic planning sessions, and account check-ins focused on performance and future growth. You will oversee account planning, reporting standards, and project prioritization to ensure disciplined execution and sustained results.
You bring:
- The strategic leadership. You have progressive experience in marketing, strategic partnerships, consulting, or account leadership, ideally within loyalty, digital commerce, media, or other multi-partner ecosystems. You can develop integrated marketing and partnership strategies that drive measurable growth. You have experience creating strategic briefs, annual account plans, and executive presentations that align cross-functional teams around clear priorities.
- The account management expertise. You have managed complex strategic partnerships where commercial performance and long-term relationship value must be balanced. You translate performance data into actionable insights that improve campaigns and partner outcomes. You are comfortable managing multiple initiatives in fast-moving environments, aligning stakeholders, identifying risks early, and maintaining momentum toward delivery.
- The technical and analytical strengths. You bring strong analytical and financial acumen and are highly proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, and marketing performance dashboards. You use data to inform planning, measure impact, and guide continuous optimization.
- The partnership and stakeholder influence. You build strong, collaborative relationships across internal and external stakeholders. You communicate and influence effectively across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Technology teams. You are comfortable navigating complex environments, leading change, and maintaining credibility with senior leaders.
