Who we need
Reporting to the Manager, Marketing Communications, we are hiring a Coordinator, Marketing Communications for a 20 month maternity leave contract. As our new Coordinator, Marketing Communications, you will support the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that strengthen member engagement and bring the Scene+ brand to life across Canada. Working closely with teams across Partnerships, CRM, Digital, Analytics, Creative, and external partners, you will coordinate campaign delivery, manage project timelines, and help ensure marketing initiatives move from concept to launch smoothly and efficiently. You will play a central role in keeping stakeholders aligned, supporting campaign reporting, and contributing to high-profile marketing programs that connect millions of Canadians with the expanding Scene+ ecosystem.
This posting is for 20 month maternity leave, hybrid role, working three days per week on-site at our Toronto office.

Broad exposure and meaningful collaboration. You will partner with teams across Partnerships, CRM, Digital, Analytics, Creative, and external agencies to deliver national campaigns, new partner launches, sponsorship activations, and member engagement initiatives. This is an opportunity to deepen your understanding of integrated marketing while building relationships across the business and gaining visibility into how successful campaigns come together.

As our new Coordinator, Marketing Communications, you will:
- Coordinate integrated marketing campaigns. You will support the planning and execution of member engagement campaigns, promotional initiatives, partner launches, sponsorship activations, and acquisition programs across the Scene+ ecosystem. Working from detailed project plans, you will coordinate deliverables, keep work moving forward, and help ensure campaigns launch on time and according to plan.
- Keep projects and stakeholders aligned. You will build and maintain workback schedules, coordinate meetings, track milestones, and manage feedback and approvals across internal teams and external partners. As the central point of coordination, you will proactively communicate updates, identify risks, escalate issues when needed, and keep multiple projects progressing simultaneously.
- Support campaign execution and optimization. You will work closely with CRM, Digital, Analytics, Partnerships, and Creative teams to ensure campaign assets are delivered accurately across channels. You will monitor campaign progress, interpret dashboards and performance reports, and help translate results into insights that inform future marketing initiatives.
- Strengthen marketing operations. You will maintain project documentation, coordinate campaign assets and approvals, support sponsorship activations and internal events, and contribute to continuous improvements that enhance collaboration, streamline processes, and improve campaign delivery across the marketing team.
You bring:
- The marketing coordination experience. You have experience supporting integrated marketing campaigns or promotional initiatives, coordinating multiple projects simultaneously, and keeping deliverables on track. You understand how to manage competing priorities, work across timelines, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
- The project management skills. You are highly organized and proactive in your approach. You can build and manage workback schedules, coordinate stakeholders, and confidently follow up on deliverables, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- The analytical mindset. You are comfortable interpreting campaign reports and dashboards to understand performance and identify trends. You enjoy asking questions, connecting the dots, and using data to help inform future marketing decisions.
- The initiative. You are curious, adaptable, and energized by a dynamic environment where priorities can evolve. You take ownership of your work, look for opportunities to improve processes, and don't wait to be told what to do—you anticipate what's needed and take action.
- The communication and relationship-building skills. You build strong working relationships with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders, communicating clearly and confidently with a range of audiences. You have experience supporting internal communications, employee engagement initiatives, and culture-building activities, whether coordinating town halls, planning employee events, developing internal newsletters, or contributing to employer brand initiatives. You know how to create engaging communications and experiences that strengthen connection while keeping projects moving through collaboration, sound judgment, and proactive communication. Bilingualism in English and French would be considered a strong asset.
Compensation
At Scene+, we believe that compensation should be transparent, fair, and market competitive. Our salary ranges are designed to represent the progression from learning the role to truly mastering it.
This role has a minimum base salary of $55,000 and a maximum base salary of $70,000. Our approach to compensation supports each person’s unique knowledge, skills, abilities, complexity of the role and balances it with internal equity to support a fair and competitive salary. The higher end of the range is reserved for those who have demonstrated deep expertise, while offers closer to the minimum reflect strong potential with room to develop.
