Who we need

Reporting to the Account Director, Fuel, we are hiring a Manager, Marketing and Partnerships – Fuel to join our team. As the new Manager, Marketing and Partnerships, you will sit at the intersection of data, marketing strategy, and partnership performance for Shell, one of our key strategic accounts. This role is uniquely positioned to bridge marketing execution and performance analytics ensuring tight alignment between campaign activity and partnership KPIs.

You will lead data-informed campaign planning and execution, guiding targeting, segmentation, and performance optimization while tracking and reporting on key account KPIs. Working closely with the Account Director and cross-functional teams, you will develop creative briefs, deliver structured insights and business cases, and help strengthen engagement and performance across the Shell partnership.

This job posting is for an existing full-time, hybrid role, working three days per week on-site at our Toronto office.

As our new Manager, Marketing & Partnerships, Fuel, you will:

  • Develop data-driven marketing strategies. You will leverage insights from performance data, market trends, and audience behaviour to develop high-impact campaign plans that drive core KPIs. You will define targeting and segmentation approaches, identifying where to focus and why, and lead the end-to-end briefing process across internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment on objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Translate data into insights and action. You will monitor campaign execution and performance in real time, proactively identifying risks and optimization opportunities. You will deliver comprehensive post-campaign analyses, including executive-ready summaries with actionable insights and recommendations
  • Monitor performance and drive optimization. You will collaborate with Data Science to track and analyze Shell account KPIs using dashboards, providing regular updates and recommendations. You will deliver Monthly Business Reports and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), ensuring insights are clearly connected to future strategy.
  • Build and nurture relationships. You will act as a key marketing and partnership contact for the Shell account, fostering strong internal and external relationships and managing regular communications. You will collaborate with stakeholders to develop marketing initiatives and influence decisions through clear, data-backed recommendations.
  • Guide strategic decisions. You will contribute to broader account deliverables, including annual account plans, QBRs, and KPI progress decks. You will integrate campaign performance data, forward-looking recommendations, and competitive insights to highlight trends, opportunities, and strategic priorities.
  • Manage projects. You will manage and maintain marketing and partnership project trackers, as well as meeting agendas and minutes for weekly execution, strategy, and QBR meetings. You will ensure meetings are productive, well-prepared, and consistently focused on data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.

You bring:

  • The experience. You have 3+ years of experience in marketing strategy, partnerships management, or a combined role; preferably within the loyalty industry. You are a data-first problem solver who can translate complex data into clear narratives that influence decisions and align stakeholders. You bring a balance of strategy, analytics, and creativity, working closely with Data Science teams to guide analysis and translate insights into actionable marketing strategies. You are comfortable connecting insights to targeting decisions, campaign strategy, and measurable outcomes. 
  • The client-centred mindset. You take a consultative approach to building and strengthening partnerships. You deepen your understanding of partner needs, manage expectations, and influence decisions through thoughtful insights and recommendations. You hold yourself accountable for delivering results and use data and analysis to guide conversations and strategy.
  • The project management skills. You can manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, coordinating resources, maintaining communication, and ensuring deliverables stay on track. You identify gaps, think critically about solutions, and take initiative from planning through execution while adapting to shifting priorities.
  • The interpersonal skills. You are an effective communicator with strong written and verbal presentation skills. You are comfortable engaging with senior leaders and stakeholders, facilitating discussions, and navigating complex conversations with professionalism and confidence.

Compensation

At Scene+, we believe that compensation should be transparent, fair, and market competitive. Our salary ranges are designed to represent the progression from learning the role to truly mastering it. 

This role has a minimum base salary of $85K and a maximum base salary of $95K. Our approach to compensation supports each person’s unique knowledge, skills, and abilities, and balances it with internal equity to ensure a fair and competitive salary. The higher end of the range is reserved for those who have demonstrated deep expertise, while offers closer to the minimum reflect strong potential with room to develop.
