Who we need:

Reporting to the Director, Digital Strategy, we are looking for a Digital Tagging Analyst. You will play a critical role in enhancing our data collection, functional tagging, and analysis capabilities. Supporting the continuous improvement of our digital properties, you will develop and implement effective tagging strategies across our app and web platforms. Additionally, you will be integral in developing and maintaining a digital reporting dashboard and helping to drive actionable insights and showcasing areas of opportunity. This hybrid role requires work in-office 2-3 days a week.

You will play an influential role in changing how we make decisions, instilling a focus on leveraging technology and analytics.

As our new Digital Tagging Analyst, you will:

  • Optimize tagging. You will implement and maintain accurate tagging for all digital components to track user behaviours, interactions and offers that trigger engagement. You will ensure the data collected through these tags is accurate, comprehensive, and applicable.
  • Share actionable insights. You will analyze collected data to identify trends, and opportunities for improvement. You will develop and maintain a digital reporting dashboard to consolidate data and provide actionable insights, which can then be used to drive business decisions and identify opportunities.
  • Enhance user experience. You will contribute to revamping the app platform, ensuring new features and functionalities are seamlessly integrated and user-friendly. You will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure cohesive and effective implementation of digital strategies.
  • Execute digital strategy. You will contribute to the digital roadmap, drawing in information gathering through effective tagging strategies. 
  • Recommend cost savings initiatives. You will identify and execute cost-saving strategies, reducing reliance on external vendors and improving in-house capabilities.

You bring:

  • The experience. You are passionate about making insights-driven recommendations that deliver high business value. You may be coming from a digital media company, a digital marketing agency, or an in-house digital marketing team at a large retail or consumer-driven corporation. You have expertise in creating and applying effective tagging strategies on mobile apps and web platforms. You have in-depth experience building reports connecting data sources and creating stories and visualizations that present the data most effectively. 
  • The technical skills. You are proficient with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Tableau, modern data management tools, and MS Office. You can quickly get up to speed with new technologies. You have experience developing web pages or mobile apps, building offer tiles or spotlights, and embedding and managing tagging. 
  • The interpersonal skills. You can nurture relationships across internal and external teams, adapting to the working style of your colleagues and embracing our culture. You have outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including comfort in presenting to senior leadership. You can translate complex data analytics and findings into visualizations and actionable insights for different audiences and levels.

  • A virtual interview with a Talent Advisor discussing your interest in the role and the company.
  • An in-person interview with the Director, Digital Strategy and the Senior Manager, Product & Digital. This is an opportunity to share your experience and learn how you will make an impact. You will have a chance to ask questions about the team and culture.
  • A final in-person interview with the Vice-President, Digital Product and Channels. You will expand on how your experience aligns with the organization’s needs.
